Records List David Grusch as Agent of UFO-Linked Startup
David Grusch, the former intelligence officer who told Congress that the U.S. government is hiding crashed non-human craft, appears in state business records for a private materials company. According to journalist Ben Schreckinger, Alabama records show Grusch as the registered agent for an Alabama branch of StarDustX Materials. Filings Schreckinger obtained from the Alabama Secretary of State also list Grusch as the company’s chief operating officer.
Schreckinger spent about ten years at Politico before launching the outlet Paradigm in August. On the UAP Files podcast, he explained how the story began. Screenshots posted on X appeared to show Grusch listed in a federal contractor database as an executive of StarDustX. By the time Schreckinger contacted the poster, the listing had disappeared. He then searched public records himself and found Grusch’s name in the Alabama filings.
The people connected to StarDustX are well known in the disclosure movement. Stanford professor Garry Nolan and retired Army Colonel Karl Nell have both publicly identified themselves as co-founders. Nolan has studied alleged UAP materials and reported unusual isotope ratios in some samples, though Schreckinger points out that these materials are alleged and not confirmed. In June, Nolan was named to the new UAP Science Advisory Council. According to Schreckinger, Nell has indicated on LinkedIn that he is no longer involved, but he has also indicated that the company has millions of dollars in venture investment behind it. Schreckinger understands that Nolan remains involved. What StarDustX actually does has not been made public.
Schreckinger’s reporting also reached John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman. On Joe Rogan’s podcast, released September 30, Grusch claimed Podesta “greenlit” an effort to prepare the public for disclosure. In an October 1 email reported by Paradigm, Podesta disputed that description. He did confirm that he took part in a conference call arranged by Tom DeLonge with retired Air Force General Neil McCasland and former Lockheed Martin Skunk Works head Rob Weiss. According to Podesta, the call focused on declassifying Defense Department files and reducing stigma around UAP.

Paradigm confirmed that Grusch left Congressman Eric Burlison’s staff around Labor Day, after roughly a year on the Missouri Republican’s team. Speaking with pastor Larry Ragland on The Big Picture, Burlison explained that he brought Grusch on because his office had been tasked with investigating UAP but had no staff who knew how to work through that world. When Ragland asked about the claims Grusch made on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Burlison said they were not new to him. Grusch had told him these stories while working in his office, including an account of alleged footage showing tall, blue-skinned, Nordic-type beings at a crash site.
Burlison explained that Grusch did not leave the military with documents and that everything Grusch says publicly must first be cleared by the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review. That means Grusch can point to where evidence might be, but he cannot hand it over. Burlison is relying on Grusch’s memory and following those leads himself. He believes the footage Grusch described is held by a private contractor rather than the government. He is trying to build a relationship with that contractor, which he has been told is not willing to talk to anyone. Burlison has not seen the footage and has found no proof of a crash retrieval program. As a congressman from the Show-Me State, he will not say the events Grusch described happened until he sees the evidence himself.
