ODNI UFO Witnesses May Testify Publicly Before Congress
President Trump’s latest remarks on UFOs show how uncertain the disclosure process remains. In an interview with Newsmax, Trump repeated that he once spoke with five or six Air Force pilots who described objects they could not identify. When asked if he would be the president to fully disclose the truth, he did not commit. He described himself as not high on the subject, while pointing to files his administration has already released.
According to Congressman Eric Burlison, the bigger problem sits below the president. In an interview with Dr. Phil and Jordan Flowers of the Disclosure Foundation, Burlison was asked about a report that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller called Congressman Tim Burchett and warned that people inside federal agencies were blocking the release of UFO files. Burlison had not heard this from Miller directly, but he agreed with it, stating that from his observation the agencies are blocking the administration. He also pointed to records from the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), dating to the 2010s, that he believes may have been deleted.
Burlison described a briefing from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) in late 2025. According to Burlison, personnel from ODNI, the CIA, the FBI, and Department of War intelligence were on site at a western military installation when glowing orbs appeared, hovered silently, accelerated suddenly, and in some cases split in two. He estimated that three to four dozen or more showed up. An FBI interview record released by the government describes orbs coming within roughly 10 feet of a helicopter carrying the intelligence team.
Flowers has described the event as an ODNI luring operation. Burlison was more careful, comparing it to deer hunting, where scent can attract animals but nothing is guaranteed. The released files do not use the word lure. Flowers also stated that about six journalists have asked the Pentagon and the White House to comment on the operation and received no response.
Burlison believes that, over time, knowledge of legacy UAP programs moved down to federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) and defense contractors, who may handle material without knowing its origin. He is prepared to use subpoenas to bring people forward.
Burlison is exploring whether intelligence officers who witnessed the orb event can testify publicly. Some have met lawmakers privately but have not shared all of their video. No hearing has been scheduled, and the base location remains unconfirmed. Burlison also stated that the topic of alien life should not be classified.
