In the opening days of 2025, two significant UFO sightings have sparked international attention for military and intelligence officials on both sides of the Atlantic, prompting an investigation. In Denmark, authorities including the domestic intelligence service PET are investigating reports UFOs spotted near Copenhagen on January 3rd, while in the United States, a veteran with nearly three decades of military experience documented a mysterious orange orb hovering between Fort Campbell and a local airport during New Year’s celebrations. These incidents, occurring just days apart, have added to a growing pattern of unexplained aerial phenomena being reported over military installations and restricted airspace, prompting deeper investigation into their nature and origin.

Danish UFOs Sightings

In a significant development that has caught the attention of both law enforcement and intelligence agencies, Danish authorities and the FBI are investigating multiple UFO sightings in Køge near Copenhagen. On January 3rd, at least 20 unidentified flying objects were reported with witnesses describing them as unlike any conventional aircraft or drones they had previously encountered.

The situation has escalated to involve Denmark’s domestic intelligence service (PET) after investigations revealed that no drone flight permits had been issued for the area during the time of the sightings. This pattern mirrors recent events in the United States, where similar mysterious aerial phenomena were initially investigated before being attributed to military activities weeks later.

These Danish sightings are part of a broader pattern of unexplained aerial phenomena being reported across multiple countries. Similar incidents have been documented over military installations in New Jersey, the United Kingdom’s RAF bases, and various locations in Germany. The timing is particularly sensitive given the current tensions in the Baltic region amid ongoing conflicts.

Historical context suggests that UFO sightings during periods of military conflict are not unprecedented. Dating back to World War II, the famous “Foo Fighters” phenomenon began in 1941 when British pilots reported mysterious objects flying alongside their aircraft. Similar incidents were documented during the Vietnam War in the 1970s, involving both aerial and submerged unidentified objects.

In a related development, allegedly a veteran with nearly 30 years of army experience reported observing a bright orange light hovering over a military base during New Year’s celebrations. The sighting which was posted to Reddit, occurred between Fort Campbell and a local airport, was documented with photographs and detailed context. The witness’s military background and familiarity with conventional aircraft added credibility to the report, as they stated the object’s movements and characteristics were unlike anything they had encountered in their extensive career.

Adding to the pattern, another similar sighting was reported in Queens, New York, on December 27th, where four strange orbs were observed in a no-fly zone. These concurrent reports in restricted airspaces have heightened interest in the phenomena as authorities continue their investigations.

As 2025 unfolds, these incidents have sparked renewed discussion about aerial phenomena. The question on everyone’s mind is ‘Is this the year of UFO disclosure?’
