Dr. Garry Nolan Reveals Latest Info on Government UFO Advisory Council
Four months after the government formed a scientific council to study UAP, one of its members revealed the group has not received a single piece of data. According to Dr. Garry Nolan, speaking on the newest episode of the Bigelow Podcast, the UAP Science Advisory Council does not even get UAP videos before they are released to the public. He notes that TV personality Dr. Phil sees the material before the council does.
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb announced the council in June. It advises a UAP Governance Board run through the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), which held its first meeting on June 17. At the time, Loeb wrote on Medium that all data shared with the council would be unclassified.
Nolan drew a line between two efforts. He explained that the White House runs the PURSUE file releases, while the science council was started by ODNI and does not report to the White House. That differs from Loeb’s June announcement, which listed the White House among the offices that asked him to build the council. The council also has no subpoena power, the legal power to force agencies to hand over records, so it can only ask questions.

Nolan did not blame the agency leaders. He described a permissions process underway at ODNI, and noted that leaders at the NSA and CIA appear to be trying to help. The resistance, he has been told, comes from people lower down in those same agencies. He also told officials that nearly every released video blacks out the same areas of the screen. He asked them to clean the hidden data and share basics like speed and brightness. He pointed out that Representatives Anna Paulina Luna and Eric Burlison have described seeing videos and briefings the council has not, and he raised the possibility that frustration could push members to leave.
