A piece of paper described as containing the secrets of the universe has been recovered after nearly thirty years — found stuck to the back of a book in a Pacific Northwest garage. According to television writers Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman, co-creators of the 1996 NBC series Dark Skies, a man identifying himself as being from the Office of Naval Intelligence showed up uninvited at their launch party and offered them a formal deal to embed real government UAP information into their show.

According to Zabel, in a recent interview with investigative journalist Ross Coulthart on News Nation, the man — who gave only the name JC — had seen the unaired pilot in specific detail and told Friedman his group felt the writers had gotten certain things right but that there were things that needed correcting. The offer was direct: real information in exchange for inside access, described by JC as part of what he called a slow rollout disclosure program from a branch of the military that believed the truth needed to come out gradually.

Before leaving, JC drew something on a torn ATM deposit envelope flap and handed it to Friedman, telling him to store it safely for ten to fifteen years. The drawing — described by those who saw it as a pictogram, formula, or equation, with one producer comparing it to a box of Lucky Charms — was described by JC as representing sound, light, and frequency, the secrets of the universe. The paper was lost during a cross-country move and only recently recovered when Friedman’s daughter was offered $500 by Zabel to search through garage boxes. After almost 2 days of searching she found it adhered to the back of a book by its original envelope adhesive.

According to Friedman, a senior Reagan administration official named John Herrington, who held a position within the Department of Energy, told him that aliens are real, that he had personally seen them, and that a multi-billion dollar suppression program existed to keep the information from the public. Herrington said he had been briefed for months at an underground government facility in West Virginia and that it had broken him. When Friedman told Herrington he now understood why he had been crying himself to sleep every night, Herrington corrected him — stating that everything they had discussed that evening was only day three of his briefing. Days one and two remain unknown.

In a separate recent interview referenced on Beyond Strangeness, constitutional lawyer Danny Sheehan, who says he is currently briefing members of Congress on UAP disclosure legislation, shared what contacts inside the military and intelligence community are now discussing. According to Sheehan, there is growing internal speculation that the small gray beings — the most commonly described entities in close encounter accounts — are not a naturally evolved species but genetically engineered biological entities created by an artificial super intelligence. Sheehan also referenced an account from Oscar Wolf, a former Project Blue Book clerk typist, who claimed to have been present during a telepathic interview with a being at a facility near Area 51 known as S4. According to Wolf’s account, when asked what authority had sent it, the being responded that humans would call it God — but that it was nothing like what humans think.
