The UFO Domain The White House Will Not Explain

Two developments landed in the UFO / UAP space this week that are worth paying close attention to. A sitting member of the House Oversight Committee went on record accusing NASA of holding classified UFO material and lying publicly about it — and separately, the White House quietly registered two new federal government domains, alien.gov and aliens.gov, with no announcement, no explanation, and only an alien emoji as an email response to press inquiries. Here is what we know.

Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee, went on record this week accusing NASA of hiding classified UAP material from the public. Speaking on One America News in an interview also covered by the Daily Mail, Burchett stated that in direct meetings with the agency, NASA officials confirmed they had studied UAP and that they held classified material they were not authorized to share. That directly contradicts the agency’s public position.

When the Daily Mail contacted NASA for a response, the agency did not issue a formal statement. Instead, a spokesperson pointed to a post from press secretary Bethany Stevens, which emphasized that NASA makes all its data publicly available. The new NASA Administrator separately acknowledged encountering things in his role he cannot explain, but the agency clarified those relate to costly programs rather than extraterrestrial activity. According to Burchett, none of that reflects what he was told privately.

Burchett also addressed why more individuals with firsthand knowledge have not come forward. He said the fear among those people is real — that some are afraid not just of legal consequences but of something far more serious. That assessment mirrors what UAP whistleblower Michael Herrera posted publicly on X back in July 2025, warning people to reconsider coming forward, stating that those who have done so have seen their lives severely impacted with no protection or compensation. Researcher Matthew Brown made similar observations in a recent appearance on the Weaponized, noting that people who come forward face pressure from multiple directions (article written here about it).

Then came a separate development. The White House registered two new federal domain names — alien.gov and aliens.gov — according to publicly available records first flagged by 404 Media and confirmed by DefenseScoop. Both were registered through CISA, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which manages official .gov domains on behalf of federal entities. As of Friday morning, neither domain was connected to a live website and no official announcement accompanied either registration.

When DefenseScoop asked the White House for an explanation, press spokeswoman Anna Kelly responded with two words — “Stay tuned” — and an alien emoji. That is the same emoji Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth used when he reposted President Trump’s UAP disclosure promise last month. CISA’s Acting Executive Assistant Director Chris Butera confirmed to DefenseScoop that the agency manages the .gov registry to ensure only verified government organizations receive trusted domains, but noted it does not audit or review how those domains are used.

One additional detail: CISA is currently not accepting new .gov domain requests due to a lapse in federal funding. These two domains were registered regardless. The Pentagon has not responded to questions about the intended content of either site or whether the registrations signal a shift in how the government plans to handle public UAP reporting. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office — AARO — the Defense Department’s dedicated UAP investigation body established in 2022, currently has over 2,000 active cases on its books. What alien.gov will contain, if anything, remains unanswered.
