Grusch Says Government Knows Several UFO Life Forms

On Tuesday, June 9th, former intelligence officer David Grusch stood on the steps of the U.S. Capitol alongside Representatives Anna Paulina Luna, Eric Burlison, and Tim Burchett, journalist Leslie Kean, and filmmaker James Fox. A row of additional whistleblowers stood behind them, some named and some not.
However, this was not full disclosure. No craft was rolled out and no documents were held up. What the event delivered instead was pressure aimed squarely at the White House, the Department of War, and the intelligence agencies, built around a single claim that Congress is being denied access to information it has a legal right to see.
According to Burlison, some of that information has been reaching Congress through unusual means, including drone footage of a UAP off the coast of Yemen that he said arrived at his office through what he called a dead drop. The point he made is that people inside the system feel they must pass information in secret, which raises the question of why anyone would fear bringing it forward at all. That fear is not theoretical. Marine veteran Michael Herrera, who went public with his own account, warned in 2025 that anyone thinking of coming forward should reconsider, saying witnesses get shortchanged and lose careers, clearances, and benefits while their lives take a serious hit.

Grusch then turned to the money. He framed the issue as a fraud, waste, and abuse problem and pointed to the federal fraud task force led by Vice President JD Vance, stating that during his investigation he found slush funds amounting to billions of dollars per year for these activities. He argued there cannot be one standard for the American people and another for what he called the deep state. As he sees it, the debate is no longer about whether the objects are real but about who controls the information, the files, the materials, and any biological evidence. Reference to that fight helps explain why Burlison has been pressing private contractors such as MITRE, RAND, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

The moment that drew the most attention came during a short press window near the end of the roughly thirty minute briefing. Asked how many different non-human species the government is aware of, Grusch described a continuum from corporeal bipedal life to what he called sentient plasmoid life, and said there are several the government is aware of. In plain terms, that ranges from a walking physical being to a form of intelligent plasma. He offered no catalog and no further detail, and he stressed that disclosure cannot rest on faith or claims alone and that the public deserves real evidence.
Speaking with TMZ at the event, Grusch confirmed that people inside places like the Pentagon want to speak but are afraid, saying his own experience had a chilling effect on current and retired federal employees. He acknowledged that full disclosure could shake public trust, and called that a real concern of his. That brings the story back to protection. According to Representative Luna, the task force is working with the White House on immunity, possibly permanent, for those who come forward with knowledge of craft or recovered technology, while Burlison has asked the president to lift the nondisclosure agreements binding these witnesses. Representative Jared Moskowitz told Ask a Pol the path forward is steady pressure and continued file releases, adding that he believes the White House already understands the immunity piece. The open question is whether, even with protection granted, the system can still keep the rest of us from finding out.
