UFO Witnesses Say Coming Forward Destroyed Them

The government keeps saying it is finally opening up about UFOs, but two recent accounts make that claim harder to accept. Congressman Eric Burlison, who has been pushing the issue hard in Congress, says the files released to the public so far are the easy material, the low hanging fruit. According to Burlison, much of it had already leaked or been explained away as balloons, birds, or swamp gas, and the material that would actually move people has not come out.

Burlison says his focus now is on private companies. He explains that much of the most sensitive material never sat inside government buildings at all and instead sits with private contractors and federally funded research centers such as MIT Lincoln Laboratory, RAND, and MITRE. He notes that a member of Congress cannot simply walk into a private lab or file a public records request there, so his team is sending narrow letters and following tips from people on the inside. In reference to what is still locked away, Burlison described glowing orbs, balls of plasma that he says appear to move in an intelligent way, sometimes hovering with no visible propulsion and sometimes accelerating instantly. He says he has seen the footage and expects it to be released, while adding that even that footage is not definitive proof of anything from another planet.

The second account comes from a whistleblower panel featuring investigative journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell. According to Knapp, officials do not need to prosecute someone to destroy their life. Former intelligence contractor Matthew Brown says he found a UAP program by accident while cleaning a shared classified server, a program he calls the Immaculate Constellation, and reported it to Congress behind closed doors. Brown says his home was later broken into while he and his wife slept, that nothing of value was taken, and that the only item removed was his grandfather’s ashes, a Navy veteran of World War II, which he says were left in the street as a message.

Senior Chief Alexandro Wiggins, an active duty sailor who recorded several Tic Tac shaped objects off Southern California, says that after declining further questioning, AARO pressed his command and suggested the Secretary of War could be used to compel him, even though he had already testified under oath. Corbell says investigators tried to get him and Knapp to denounce other whistleblowers, and that he caught fabrications used against Borland and handed them to his lawyer, which he says is the only reason the treason case did not stick. In response, Brown and Borland are building a nonprofit called Vanguard to support whistleblowers and their families. Burlison’s own explanation for the secrecy is blunt, suggesting the government does not want to reveal that it cannot identify or stop objects over its own military bases.
