Congress Demands NASA Release 3I/ATLAS Images Now

Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has escalated her efforts to obtain crucial data about the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, submitting two separate letters to NASA Administrator Sean Duffy that reveal a troubling pattern of non-disclosure.

According to the correspondence, the first letter dated July 31st, 2025, proposed redirecting the Juno spacecraft from its orbit around Jupiter to intercept 3I/ATLAS, citing analysis from Harvard physicist Avi Loeb showing that applying a specific thrust on September 14th could position Juno to study the object when it passes within 53 million kilometers of Jupiter on March 16th, 2026, at an estimated cost of $15M for a six-month mission extension. However, the second letter dated October 31st, 2025, takes a dramatically different approach, demanding NASA release data it has already collected rather than proposing new observations. This shift suggests that by October, Luna realized NASA had been observing 3I/ATLAS extensively but refusing to share findings with the scientific community and the public.

The congresswoman specifically requested the highest resolution HiRISE camera images from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter taken on October 2nd and 3rd with 30 kilometer per pixel resolution, any supplementary data from Mars missions that detected unusual activity when 3I/ATLAS passed within 30 million kilometers of Mars around October 3rd, and observations from the Parker Solar Probe, Hubble and James Webb Space Telescope. Simultaneously, Avi Loeb sent his own request to Professor Alfred McEwen at the University of Arizona, the principal investigator for the HiRISE camera team, but received no response as of his article publication. The story has exploded into mainstream consciousness, with Kim Kardashian tweeting directly at NASA Administrator Sean Duffy asking about 3I/ATLAS. NASA’s response dismissed concerns, claiming it is just the third interstellar comet to pass through our solar system with no aliens and no threats.

According to research published by Avi Loeb, 3I/ATLAS exhibits ten separate anomalies that set it apart from every known comet. These include a retrograde trajectory aligned within five degrees of the ecliptic plane with only a 0.2 percent probability of occurring naturally, a jet pointing toward the sun instead of away from it, and a nickel to iron ratio resembling industrially produced alloys rather than natural asteroids. The nickel to cyanide ratio is orders of magnitude higher than any known comet with less than one percent probability of being natural. The object contains only four percent water content by mass compared to the water-rich composition of typical comets, and shows extreme negative polarization never before seen in any comet. Its arrival timing brought it within tens of millions of kilometers of Mars, Venus, and Jupiter while remaining unobservable from Earth at perihelion with a probability of only 0.005 percent. The trajectory originated from within nine degrees of the 1977 Wow Signal location with a 0.6 percent probability of coincidence. Near perihelion, it brightened faster than any known comet while appearing bluer than the sun, and exhibits non-gravitational acceleration requiring massive evaporation of one sixth its mass despite post-perihelion images showing no evidence of such mass loss.

The situation mirrors patterns seen in other government responses to unidentified phenomena. According to investigative journalist George Knapp reporting for KLAS 8 News Now in Las Vegas, what happened on September 23rd on public land outside the boundary of Area 51 provides a textbook example of how crash retrievals work, with pretty much everything told to the public since then being pure fiction. York Arnu, who runs the website Dreamland Resort and monitors Area 51 radio traffic around the clock, heard Area 51 security channels report an asset had gone down during a large but totally secret air operation in the middle of the night. Within minutes, Area 51 was locked down, security teams were deployed across the entire Tikaboo Valley, and armed military personnel brought portable toilets indicating plans for a multi-day operation. After Arnu posted video of the site online, a second wave of cleanup crews used graders to cover the entire area with a thick layer of dirt, literally covering up the crash site, then scattered debris from other aircraft across the area to create misdirection.

Ross Coulthart, reporting for News Nation, has been collecting reports from submariners across multiple nations who describe confrontations with enormous objects underwater traveling faster than the speed of sound in water, over 1,480 meters per second compared to the fastest submarine ever built reaching only 44 knots or about 23 meters per second. Coulthart noted that if a non-human civilization was trying to stay out of sight while monitoring humanity, the water covering so much of Earth’s surface would be a good place to hide.

He also mentioned designated no-go areas for naval vessels in parts of the Pacific and Atlantic that officially serve as military training ranges but could be covering up areas of unknown underwater activity.

While Vice President JD Vance has publicly stated that getting to the bottom of the UFO issue is a priority and the newly formed Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets is looking into UAPs, NASA continues to refuse releasing the HiRISE images of 3I/ATLAS that could provide answers.
