Newly released photo of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS show the visitor spitting out an enormous jet of gas and dust toward the sun, according to data captured by the Two-meter Twin Telescope at Spain’s Teide Observatory on August 2nd. The composite image, created from 159 exposures lasting 50 seconds each, reveals the icy body as a large black dot surrounded by a white glow, with a sudden fan-shaped break showing where a high-speed jet of material blasts off the comet in the sun’s direction.
The timing of this release coincides with what physicist Michio Kaku describes as a critical test week for determining the object’s nature. Speaking on Newsmax, Kaku explained that the astronomical community remains split on 3I/ATLAS, with the majority viewing it as simply a rock from outer space passing through our solar system for the first time. However, another faction suggests this could be an intelligent visitor from another solar system. Kaku stated that if the object picks up extra energy during its flyby around the sun through what is known as the Oberth maneuver, it would strongly imply extraterrestrial intelligence is involved. According to Kaku, tracking beginning October 30th will determine if the object receives an unexplained energy boost, which would mean “we are being visited.”
The object has been added to the International Asteroid Warning Network, marking the first time an interstellar object has been placed on that list. Based on previous reporting, when 3I/ATLAS passed Mars on October 3rd at 29 million kilometers distance, the gravitational impact could not be measured. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb analyzed the object’s rotation period of 16.16 hours and compared it against its mass and diameter, finding that the calculations do not add up for a solid object.

While scientists await 3I/ATLAS to re-emerge from behind the sun in mid-November, military authorities across Europe are addressing a surge in mysterious drone activity near sensitive installations. UK Defense Secretary John Healey announced new powers allowing British troops to shoot down drones threatening military bases, changing existing protocols that only permitted soldiers to divert drones or disrupt their GPS signals. Recent drone sightings across the European Union prompted a leaders summit in Denmark, where several member states backed plans for a multi-layered drone wall to detect, track and destroy drones. According to reports, all previous equipment has not been able to intercept these drones in any way, let alone track their origin or destination. None have been shot down except for those in Ukraine and one in Poland, yet no real answers have been given to the public regarding the drones seen in Denmark, England, Germany, Estonia, and the Netherlands.
Witnesses across Moscow reported a bright green fireball moving across the sky on October 27th. While analysts initially suggested it was a boloid producing bright flashes and visible fragmentation, Alexander Rodin from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology stated that the slow speed and significant slowdown at the end, along with the green and yellow shades, pointed to artificial origin, suggesting it was likely space debris.

Beneath the surface, over 9,000 mysterious sightings have been logged within 10 miles of US shorelines or major bodies of water as of August 2025, according to available data. These Unidentified Submersible Objects, or USOs, include more than 150 reports describing objects hovering above water or plunging beneath the surface without creating a splash. California leads with 389 sightings and Florida follows with 306, with dense clusters appearing along both coasts, notably near naval training zones and busy shipping routes.
Retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, who previously served as acting head of NOAA and testified to Congress in 2024, argues that unidentified objects with unexplained characteristics entering US water space should trigger serious concern. According to Gallaudet, the Department of Defense has not raised what he calls a “great red flag,” and he believes the government is not sharing everything it knows about this phenomenon. Gallaudet described the ability to move seamlessly between air and water as having world-changing implications, warning that ignoring this phenomenon could jeopardize US Maritime Security. Navy sonar operator Aaron Amick has stated that fast mover contacts occasionally appear on sonar, describing them as so quick that they cannot measure the speed.
