Billionaire Names The Office He Says Buried UFOs

Robert Bigelow, the aerospace founder who once ran the largest government-funded UAP investigation in United States history, has publicly accused the Pentagon’s current UAP office of working against disclosure rather than for it. Speaking on episode 2 of the Bigelow Podcast with longtime investigative reporter George Knapp, Bigelow said that after a private meeting with President Trump, he came away believing that AARO, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, was built as what he called a disguise and probably a fraudulent effort to squash disclosure.

According to the podcast, Bigelow drew a contrast between the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s July 2021 assessment, which stated it could not rule out that these objects physically exist, and AARO’s first director Sean Kirkpatrick, who testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee in April 2023 that AARO had found no credible evidence of extraterrestrial activity or off-world technology. Bigelow pointed to that shift in tone as evidence that something changed once AARO took over the investigation.

Later in the same conversation, Bigelow and Knapp discussed a separate claim involving a craft that reportedly crashed in Kazakhstan, which Russia is said to have used to reverse engineer a directed energy weapon. Per the podcast, a senior source inside the Russian program brought this information to American intelligence. Bigelow connected this claim back to the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program, the Defense Intelligence Agency contract he ran through his company, Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, between 2008 and 2010, which he said produced roughly 7,500 pages of reports still largely unreleased to the public.

Separately, Secretary of State and acting National Security Adviser Marco Rubio addressed UAP on the Katie Miller Podcast, stating that he has handed off the issue to someone else in the administration and that even he is told the details are classified. Rubio referenced a colleague by first name only, and reporting from Liberation Times identifies White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller as the official currently overseeing the administration’s UAP work. Rubio also acknowledged that his own UAP advocacy as a senator doubled as a way to redirect reporters from political questions, a comment that adds context to his earlier 2023 statements to NewsNation, in which he said whistleblowers, including Navy pilots, admirals, and generals, had come to his committee seeking protection.
