Lara Trump Says President Has UFO Info Ready To Drop

Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law, recently made comments on her YouTube channel suggesting that President Trump has UFO-related information he is waiting to release. When asked what the president knows about UFOs, she stated that he has something “in the queue” and that his reluctance to share details with family members suggests he is sitting on significant information. This is not the first time the topic has come up within the Trump family. Back in 2020, Donald Trump Jr. asked his father on his podcast whether he would declassify information about Roswell. The president’s response at the time was that he would not talk about what he knows, but that it is “very interesting.”

These comments come alongside fresh remarks from Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota, who co-authored the UAP Disclosure Act with former Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. In an exclusive interview published by Ask a Pol, Rounds acknowledged that military contractors are exempt from FOIA requests because they hold proprietary materials, but noted they are “changing a lot of that right now.” When journalist Matt Laslo asked whether the Pentagon can hide information from Congress by routing it through contractors, Rounds confirmed the loophole exists and that there has been “no resolution.” He was also asked directly whether the Pentagon has adequately handled incursions over military bases and nuclear sites, and his answer was a flat no, referencing the 17-day drone incursion over Langley Air Force Base in December 2023 that remains unexplained.

On the whistleblower front, Representative Eric Burlison told Ask a Pol in December 2025 that a new witness with firsthand knowledge is preparing to come forward, with evidence that reportedly builds on what David Grusch provided under oath. According to Ross Coulthart on NewsNation’s Reality Check, this individual could be the most credible witness yet. Meanwhile, Representative Robert Garcia confirmed to Ask a Pol that a bipartisan whistleblower protection bill for contractors is gaining support, with House Oversight Chair James Comer backing the effort. Garcia stated he believes more UAP whistleblowers will come forward if the bill passes and noted that the Oversight Committee already operates an active whistleblower protection line.

The UAPDA has been introduced three times by Senators Rounds, Schumer, and Gillibrand, and blocked each time. According to Open Secrets data, key figures accused of blocking the legislation, including Congressmen Mike Turner and Mike Rogers, received significant defense sector funding during the 2023 to 2024 cycle. Liberation Times reported in January 2026 that Senator Mitch McConnell’s chief of staff was a central figure in stripping the bill from the fiscal year 2026 NDAA. The bill’s eminent domain provision, which would require private companies to surrender recovered materials of unknown origin, appears to be the primary target of opposition. Whether the growing pressure from lawmakers, the White House, and new witnesses will be enough to break through that resistance remains to be seen.
