Representative Eric Burlison of Missouri made a White House-approved visit last month to Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland — commonly known as Pax River — to examine a facility tied to claims of recovered non-human materials, according to Liberation Times. Two sources confirmed to Liberation Times that Burlison verified the existence of a hangar that former Pentagon official Lue Elizondo had previously named in written congressional testimony. Elizondo alleged the hangar was built to accommodate the transfer of advanced materials between Lockheed Martin and aerospace businessman Robert Bigelow — a transfer that was reportedly blocked by the CIA, the original custodian of the materials.

Burlison also observed a private runway and a crane allegedly built to support the transfer by air and by river. The hangar was empty, an outcome Burlison had anticipated publicly for months, citing concerns that materials could be moved before any congressional visit took place. Those findings were reported back to the White House.

Access was obtained not through a formal subpoena but during budget negotiations over the One Big Beautiful Bill, when Burlison pulled a White House staffer aside and made a direct request. According to Burlison in a Reddit AMA hosted by The Anomalous Coalition, a White House official accompanied him on the visit and described it as one of the most enjoyable experiences of their job. More site visits are planned.

Running parallel to the physical visits, Burlison’s team sent a formal letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright. The letter, co-signed by Representatives Nancy Mace, Eli Crane, Scott Perry, Anna Paulina Luna, Tim Burchett, and Democratic members including Intelligence Committee member Andre Carson, requests the release of specific named files — complete with file names, dates, and document metadata.

Meanwhile, Congressional UAP Caucus co-chair Tim Burchett confirmed to Ask a Pol that he spoke directly with President Trump about UAP disclosure. Per that conversation, Burchett told the President the evidence needs to be released — and said that what he has personally seen in classified settings would be, in his words, plenty for most people to handle.
