Pentagon UFO Gatekeeper Finally Named

A career civil servant inside the Pentagon has occupied the same chair across three administrations, and according to new research presented this weekend by News Nation researcher Rob Jones, every UFO file that reaches Congress has been flowing across his desk first. The name now in the open is David Kozik, a career Senior Executive Service civil servant who serves a dual role as Director of Congressional Activities under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, which is the same office AARO reports to, and as chief of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs intelligence team.
Per Jones’s research, Kozik has held this dual-hatted role across the first Trump administration, the Biden administration, and now the second Trump administration. Most Senior Executive Service appointments rotate every three to five years, but Kozik has remained for nearly eight. His public record before December 2017 is essentially empty, with no biography, no LinkedIn entry, and no property records available. According to Jones, the second role coordinates every Department of Defense engagement with Congress on intelligence matters and maintains an internal tracking database. If a UAP topic is not entered into that database, it is not tracked, and Congress is not notified.
A March 2024 email from Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough to Kozik, surfaced through public records, shows Gough flagging that they did not want small unmanned aerial systems added to AARO’s portfolio, sent the same day Senator Gillibrand was pressing AARO in a closed briefing about that very topic.
Representative Tim Burchett separately told reporters this week that he, Eric Burlison, and Andy Ogles were denied access to a facility connected to the UAP issue, and that he was told the block came from the intelligence community itself, not the intelligence committee. Burchett indicated members would invoke the Holman rule and defund positions if access continues to be blocked. The pattern of obstruction now also reaches the top of the intelligence community, with reporting from Liberation Times indicating that Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Aaron Lucas may be obstructing the President’s disclosure directive, while other sources indicate Lucas was brought in by Tulsi Gabbard to carry out that directive. David Grusch also stated he is aware of elements inside the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency working to block the administration from procuring the files it needs.
Jeremy Corbell, speaking with Chris Cuomo, confirmed that he and George Knapp have provided the Pentagon and Congress with the 46 file names of military-filmed UAP footage requested by Representative Anna Paulina Luna, plus more. Corbell explained that access to these unacknowledged special access programs is governed by what insiders call ‘bigot lists’, and that at times the commander-in-chief is determined not to have a need to know. Representative Eric Burlison this week also called out MIT Lincoln Laboratory by name, demanding the release of a 1952 film titled Flying Saucer Talk, led by Edward Ruppelt of Project Sign and Project Grudge, predating the Robertson Panel.
