NASA Admin. Breaks Protocol: "I've Asked for the Alien Briefing"

Two of the most powerful figures in American intelligence and space exploration have made unprecedented public statements about extraterrestrial phenomena, occurring just one day apart and signaling a potential shift toward greater government transparency on UFOs.

According to a Fox News Radio interview with host Jimmy Failla, Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy openly acknowledged the existence of what he termed "the alien briefing" while admitting he has not yet received this classified information despite actively requesting it. Duffy, who serves dual roles as both Transportation Secretary and interim NASA Administrator following President Trump's appointment, stated: "I just want to be really clear. I haven't had the alien briefing yet, but I've asked for it." The official emphasized his commitment to transparency, noting that "we want to share as much information with the American people" as feasibly possible, while acknowledging that "decisions have to be made" regarding what information can be released publicly.

Duffy's unique position places him at the intersection of aviation security and space exploration - precisely where UAP investigations operate. His public acknowledgment that such a briefing exists contrasts sharply with the typical government approach of neither confirming nor denying classified programs. Reference to NASA's expanding role in UAP research, including their dedicated UFO research group, suggests Duffy would have legitimate reasons to access comprehensive classified information about potential non-human intelligence and related government knowledge.

Complementing Duffy's statements, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard expressed significant doubts about official explanations for the mysterious drone incidents over New Jersey during a Pod Force One podcast interview with Miranda Devine. According to Gabbard, "I still have a lot of questions around that. I've heard what the public official line is. I just personally still have a lot of questions that are unanswered." The DNI revealed that the incidents extended far beyond New Jersey, stating: "Because it wasn't just New Jersey. It was happening in different parts of the country." When pressed about potential foreign involvement, Gabbard acknowledged: "Yeah, there's a lot of classified information about that."

Gabbard's admission is particularly remarkable given her oversight of America's entire intelligence apparatus - 18 agencies with access to classified information about these incidents. Her persistent questions, despite her privileged position, suggest significant gaps between official explanations and available intelligence. The timing of these statements appears coordinated, occurring within the same timeframe that Vice President J.D. Vance discussed his interest in UFOs and Congresswoman Luna addressed interdimensional possibilities on Joe Rogan's podcast.

According to congressional leader Eric Burlison, these developments represent "not a one-time thing" but rather "a systematic change to the process in the way that we are transparent with the American people." Multiple officials, including Luna, Gabbard, and Duffy, have repeatedly emphasized "transparency" as a key priority, though the actual implementation of this transparency remains to be demonstrated.

However, renowned UFO researcher and computer scientist Jacques Vallé offers a contrasting perspective on the congressional approach to UAP research. According to Vallé's recent statements to the Sol Foundation, "When is the last time science had to wait for a decision of Congress to study something? That's not the way a university works." Vallé argues that researchers typically investigate anomalies as they discover them, whether in laboratory experiments or medical cases, without requiring political permission. He emphasizes that "Congress is not what we pay them for" regarding scientific investigation, noting that "we are misunderstanding the role of the legislator."

Vallé's critique highlights a fundamental tension in current UAP discourse: while congressional involvement has helped legitimize the topic and reduce reporting stigma that previously prevented serious scientific study, it may also be creating an artificial dependency on political processes for what should constitute routine scientific inquiry. According to Vallé, the UAP topic has become "so classified and stigmatized that congressional action has almost become necessary to legitimize what should be routine scientific inquiry."

The convergence of these high-level statements suggests a broader pattern of officials positioned at the intersection of intelligence, space exploration, and national security all pointing toward the same conclusion: significant gaps exist in our understanding of aerial phenomena that may represent advanced technologies. Whether this represents genuine disclosure efforts or political theater remains an open question, but the unprecedented nature of these public acknowledgments from such senior officials marks a notable shift in government communication about UAP-related topics.

These developments occur against the backdrop of global drone incidents, with similar unexplained aerial phenomena reported in Denmark and England during the same timeframe as the New Jersey incidents, suggesting the scope of these encounters extends well beyond U.S. borders.
