Government Releasing UFO Files It Cannot Account For

According to investigative journalist Ross Coulthart, speaking on Representative Eric Burlison’s Fresh Freedom podcast, the recent UFO releases on war.gov, the Pentagon’s public file page, did not come out in order of importance. The military videos went first because Coulthart and other researchers handed the government the specific file names, telling officials which files to start with.
Burlison stated when he pressed the Trump administration on what to release next, the request came back to him. He said this suggests the government is either only releasing what it knows that outside researchers already know, or, in his words, that officials are trying to rediscover what they once knew. What he is saying is that the administration may be leaning on reporters to learn what exists, because the people who once tracked it are no longer in the chain, having either retired or died.
Coulthart argues that no single group oversees this topic anymore. He references the Dick Cheney era as the last time someone sat over the entire effort. Since then, he says, the material has been pushed into private contractors and federally funded labs and split into so many separate special access programs, a classification so restrictive that even people with high clearances cannot enter without being formally read on, that no one person can see all of it. When he has asked who keeps it locked away, he says the answers form a circle. According to Coulthart, one major aerospace executive blamed the CIA, while a CIA contact blamed the aerospace companies.
That debate is fueling a fight over leadership. Coulthart reported that the name now being floated for a senior White House role is Lue Elizondo. Even people who respect Elizondo question the choice, because he has never been fully straight about his own past roles inside these programs. Others want David Grusch, the former intelligence officer who testified about non-human intelligence and has spoken about recovered beings, including what he described as plasmoid life.
According to Representative Anna Paulina Luna, this is already moving inside the White House, with Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller weighing the amnesty.
Coulthart said the risk is not too little disclosure but too much, all at once, through a catastrophic leak in the style of Edward Snowden. He cautioned that a dump like that could expose not only the existence of non-human intelligence but the engineering behind capabilities the country may be holding in reserve, handing that information to adversaries the secrecy was meant to outpace. He also said his sources keep returning to one warning, that the Chinese are three or four steps ahead, and that excessive compartmentalization is what slows the work needed to stay competitive.
