Breaking: Military Helicopter in Hot Pursuit of UFO in New York

Writer: Cristina GomezCristina Gomez

Military helicopter spotted in New York engaged in hot pursuit of a breaking UFO incident, according to an astonished local witness. Reports of helicopters chasing unusual objects in the sky haven’t faded from public consciousness, despite some claims to the contrary. These pursuit incidents remain one of the most consistent elements in credible UFO encounters. Equally fascinating yet less known is Taiwan’s remarkable UFO-themed resort, now fallen into disrepair. These stories represent just a fraction of ongoing unusual aerial phenomena documented worldwide.

Military Aircraft Chases Mysterious Object Over New York

On February 24th at approximately 6:35pm, a Huntington resident heard an unusually loud helicopter through closed windows during dinner with family. Stepping outside, they observed what appeared to be a Blackhawk helicopter with red blinking lights flying at moderate altitude across their yard. After watching for several seconds, they witnessed an extremely bright, warm white ball of light suddenly appear approximately 10–15 helicopter lengths ahead of the aircraft. Based on their perception of distance, height, and flight path, the witness was certain this was a separate object being pursued by the helicopter. The sighting was striking enough that they called out in shock, bringing their elementary-aged son outside to witness it.

After the objects moved beyond view, the witness and son ran through the house to the driveway, catching a final glimpse before the pair disappeared behind trees. The white orb remained brightly illuminated during the entire observation, which lasted approximately 10 seconds split between both viewing locations. The witness described the light as remarkably different from typical aircraft illumination — appearing more as a self-contained ball of light rather than a directional spotlight. What made the encounter particularly uncanny was how the object had been completely invisible until suddenly illuminating with startling brightness.

In their report to the National UFO Reporting Center, they emphasized that the glowing object was significantly brighter and larger than typical aircraft lights, describing it specifically as a “ball of light” rather than a directional spotlight. Later, they shared this experience on Reddit, where another user reportedly confirmed the helicopter’s flight path using publicly available tracking data. Without official statements from aviation authorities, this incident remains unexplained

UFO Village in Taiwan

Taiwan’s abandoned “UFO village” stands as a remarkable remnant of futuristic aspirations. Located along a coastal road in the Wanli District near Taipei, this settlement began in the late 1970s as an ambitious venture into avant-garde vacation living. A plastics tycoon developed the project, hoping to attract wealthy holidaymakers and American servicemen stationed in East Asia during its construction peak in the early 1980s. The distinctive circular, pod-like structures known as Futuro Houses were designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen and shipped to Taiwan for assembly into a unique resort community.

These Futuro Houses represent a rare architectural curiosity, with fewer than 100 built between the late 1960s and early 1970s. Current estimates suggest only 60 to 68 remain worldwide, scattered across Finland, the United States, Germany, South Africa, England, Russia, and Australia. Each pastel-colored home featured science fiction-inspired interiors, including circular beds, compact bathrooms, and built-in furniture, evoking the aesthetic of a budget space opera. Originally selling for $12,000 to $14,000 (equivalent to approximately $90,000 to $120,000 today), they represented an accessible vision of futuristic living.

The ambitious UFO-themed resort in Taiwan collapsed by the mid-1980s due to financial problems and diminishing interest, leaving an abandoned village now overtaken by nature. While some of the distinctive Futuro Houses remain on the hillside with their domed roofs and porthole windows intact, others have been demolished or fallen into disrepair. The site has transformed into a magnet for curious visitors despite local legends attributing its failure to supernatural causes from a nearby destroyed cemetery, though practical explanations like poor business decisions are more likely. This abandoned futuristic village, along with ongoing reports of unexplained aerial phenomena, continues to spark our imagination about possibilities beyond our current understanding, suggesting these mysteries deserve serious scientific inquiry rather than dismissal.
